About

Many of you will understand how I fell in love with the darker side of our 24 hour day. Having friends working at the hottest nightlife spots around the city and working  in the industry myself made it easy. Too easy. Being “hooked up” ensured instant entry to venues no matter the line-up, countless free drinks, and new acquaintances that perpetuated the cycle.

After graduating from university, I moved to two of the world’s largest fashion capitals for various Fashion industry internships, and I brought my penchant for nightlife with me. Meeting with Saks Fifth Avenue buyers, dressing male models, merchandising designer clothes and compiling sales reports occupied my days, while dinners at Pastis, parties at the Standard Hotel’s Boom Boom Room, and events studded with celebrities like Penn Badgley and Scarlett Johansson occupied my nights.

Now, I’m back in Montreal, and have evolved from party girl to young professional. My inclination towards the finer things in life – new and up-coming restaurants, nightlife, and fashion – hasn’t left me. For everyone past the age of 25 who still loves to go out – this blog is an attempt at giving you a plugged insider’s view and opinion of Montreal’s best spots. Hot but classy, trendy but effortless. Welcome to my world.

I have no clue who we are. We probably know each other… Montreal scene is very small. But i’m just saying it’s too easy being self-centered … You need to step up your game for a girl who claims herself as “a socialite”… very medium

Bag..sorry GAB – jealousy is so 2011. I love this girl, unpretentious yet refined, just like montreal culture itself.

    Hi,
Just found your blog and find it quite interesting, as I’m also a young professional (currently also working in fashion, but usually in banking/industry). Although I have my favourite picks for food, it’s good to hear about new places for drinks in Montreal, especially Old Port.
It seems like your blog is fairly new – maybe you should set up an RSS feed to make it easier to follow? This is very easy to do with WordPress.
    Thanks, and best of luck.

Just found your blog. Love it! While info. on venues is nice – I find my social life is starting to be more “event” driven.

Would love to get a social calendar of events for young professionals from an “insider” (e.g. things like the Bal du Mont Royal and also the Heels and Heart fashion show fundraiser)

Great job on the blog though! A rare find!

Great blog. Will you do a guide for Grand Prix. I’d like to know what’s hot, where should I get reservations to eat and party during that weekend.
